1. Press Windows + X and select Disk Management.
   
2. Look for the drive marked Unallocated.
   
3. Right-click on it and choose New Simple Volume.
   
4. The wizard opens → assign a drive letter (D, E, etc.).
   
5. Choose a file system (NTFS recommended) and rename the drive (eg, Backup or Games).
   
6. ClickFinish. The drive is now usable in File Explorer.

3. Select Extend Volume.
   
4. Choose how much unallocated space to add.
   
5. Click Finish.

• Drive not showing → check connections and initialize the disk.

• Unable to extend volume → unallocated space must be next to the target partition.
